The map automatically updates every 4 hours. 12/18/2024 In looking at the three Splash 10 tagged turtles' (Moana Kai, Ehnally and Pericu) diving behavior and temperature preferences we find that they have remained in waters between 16 and 21 degrees C and have spent most of their time in fairly shallow waters. It should be noted that Pericu has a more varied diving pattern with a higher percentage of dives in the 5, 10 and 15 meter dive bins. Below are a series of graphs showing the percent occurrence in temperature and dive depth bins since deployment (7/8/24) to 12/16/24 for Moana Kai, Ehnally and Pericu. The day n...
